The 2020 General Election for President of the United States is happening Tuesday, November 3rd. Use the map to find mail vote information in your state with quick links to apply or register. Mail ballot is the fastest, healthiest and most convenient way to vote. Record turnout, long lines, and a pandemic are all excellent reasons to vote-by-mail in 2020 if you are eligible. Every state uses mail-in ballots and sets their own rules. A “Mail vote” or “no-excuse absentee ballot” state allows it for all voters. An “Excuse absentee ballot” state restricts it to voters that have a specific reason for not making it to the polls. The reasons are growing to include those impacted, or who want to avoid, Covid-19.
